Consumers usually only engage with bank social media accounts to complain – even among the big brands. We’ve long used Regions’ role as the Official Bank of the SEC to move the needle on engagement. But in 2023, we took it to the next level by gamifying the experience.
Removing the Luck
We couldn’t rely on luck to bring fans to Regions’ social channels and activations week after week. We had to give them something intriguing to make them seek us out. The Seeing SEC everywhere platform lit up our channels across the board by including hidden, team-specific Easter eggs that could score fans weekly prizes. We brought the game to life in our sponsorship tent as well, making it our most successful activation ever.
