At Luckie, our Senior Account Managers are an important part of the team, where relationships and strategy elevate our work and our people. This person will support leadership in establishing and managing meaningful long-term relationships with our clients, our teams, and our vendors.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Be a liaison – successfully cultivating client relationships while keeping abreast of client objectives, opportunities, issues, successes, and key personnel change
- Open jobs, present work estimates to the client for approval, and ensure no agency work begins without prior written consent (while still anticipating needs and working with supervision to forecast)
- Be all-knowing as to the status of your accounts, regardless of responsibility level
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure work is done on time and on budget
- Review work prior to presenting to the client and ensure the work is on strategy
- Prepare written status reports for clients (also to be shared internally as requested)
- Attend and often lead regular status meetings
- Coordinate monthly client billing
- Review and approve invoices prior to sending
- Develop agency recommendations and POVs (points of view) for client presentations
- Proactively look for organic growth opportunities to increase revenue
- Effectively work with remote teams and partner agencies to build annual plans, budgets, timelines, etc.
- Function autonomously while managing up to manager and agency leadership
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 3-5 years of experience managing accounts within a fast-paced, agency environment
- Strong understanding of Business Intelligence and Analytics
- Experience working on multiple accounts at once
- Strong digital experience (web, media)
- Industry experience in one or more of the following: health, CPG, insurance, and QSR
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Leads an effective and efficient discussion, ensuring discussions stay on track and lead to a solution and/or clear next steps
- Exhibits strong listening skills and the ability to tactfully communicate a position on relevant issues to reach team consensus
- Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills to mitigate conflict or risk
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask across multiple projects
