We’re searching for a motivated, professional Accountant with a problem-solving attitude to join the Luckie Finance team. The primary areas of responsibility for this role include maintaining general ledger accounts (GAAP), maintaining the integrity of our financial systems, and assisting with financial reporting. This role will report to the controller and support each agency location from our Atlanta, GA office.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Month-end client billing with strict adherence to client contracts and billing procedures
- Work with the client account teams to accurately record monthly revenue recognition to support the monthly close
- Assist in the month-end close process centered on forecast vs. actual financial analysis and the completion of a monthly management reporting package
- Assist in generating and reconciling monthly client reporting packages for each client account team
- Research and prepare accounting variance analysis reports
- Assist with general ledger account reconciliations, monthly bank account reconciliations, and accounts payable entries from time-to-time
- Assists with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and any required regulatory reporting
- Supports the annual budgeting and monthly forecast process with revenue, resource, and operating expense analysis details
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests for management, department managers, account management teams, and/or finance
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of finance/accounting experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience
- Pivot tables, filters, v-lookups, and other advanced data analysis tools
- Database/dataset queries to drive charts, graphs, and monthly trend analysis vs. KPIs
- Four-year college degree in accounting or finance
- Attention to detail, organization, and a desire for continuous improvement
- Advantage or Microsoft Dynamics ERP operating/financial system experience is a significant plus
- CPA/CPA candidate, CMA, or other finance certifications a plus
